As of today, HB 1446 has been heard in committee and all of the submitted testimony was in opposition.

HB 1198 was also heard with mostly opposing testimony, with the exception of the bill sponsor.

The North Dakota Watchdog Network continues to oppose the efforts to unmask those who make open-records requests and will oppose anything that looks like it is designed to create a chilling effect on whistle-blowers that have the cause of Good Government as their goal.
