Sneaky Tricks: SB 2208 Resurrected In SB 2012

The House Appropriations has adopted an amendment designed to sneak provisions similar to SB 2208 into SB 2012 (the Department of Transportation budget). Bill also MANDATES HIGHER property taxes.

In an illustration of how bad ideas are never really dead even if they are voted down if certain legislators are willing to be sneaky enough, language attempting to control the ability of local governments to represent the wishes of their constituents is back.
