SCR 4007: Suppressing The Vote On Changing The Constitution
For years, the legislature has said they want constitution measures on the General Election ballot. Now they have decided they prefer lower turnout to sneak their changes through.
In another display of how it’s not over till it’s over, the House just voted to switch their ballot measure on the single subject rule from the 2026 General Election ballot to the 2026 Primary Election ballot in order to suppress the number of voters that could potentially vote on the issue.
