Two Bids Submitted For State's Carbon Agenda Propaganda Grant
Contract likely to go-to firm with history of being the preferred bidder on state contracts. Also, new polling shows majority of North Dakotans and Republicans don't buy climate change scare tactics.
Previously, I wrote about plans the state has to spend $300,000 on a marketing campaign to re-educate the public on carbon.
We now know which companies are in the running to receive this grant.
According to the North Dakota Industrial Commission meeting agenda for tomorrow (February 21st, 2024) two companies have put in bids on this grant: AE2S’s Communications’ division, and Public Affairs Company.
It is pretty clear that the deck is stacked for AE2S considering all of the letters at the end of the packet are endorsing their bid for this marketing grant to help develop propaganda.
(I will note, for what it’s worth, that it was The Public Affairs Company that recruited the North Dakota Taxpayers Association and myself to help with the US Chamber Commerce’s campaign against ObamaCare back in the 2009-10 era, so I can vouch that they do good work.)
