To her credit, Senator Janne Myrdal was hearing this too, and offered up amendments to her own bill to make it less bad - specifically taking out the 67% threshold for approval.

Because of Senator Myrdal’s willingness to moderate her proposal, I took a different approach and outline in detail the proposal that I am currently working with State Representative Steve Vetter to have introduced on the House side.
