Fargo's Rush For More Higher Taxes Could Help Measure 4
Fargo voters will likely have a chance to choose between "wants" and "needs" with multiple local ballot measures to increase taxes. City needs to set the priorities for local government spending.
It seems that Measure 4 on the ballot to eliminate property taxes have everyone in Fargo looking for ways and reasons to increase taxes at the same time.
Fargo first responders are proposing a sales tax hike in Fargo to fund emergency services, the problem is they are a little late to the show as other special interest groups already have their hands out.

Earlier this month it was announced that The Fargo Dome Authority and Conventions/Vistors group will be asking the voters for increases of local sales taxes:
The measures were approved for the November election ballot by Fargo city commissioners on Monday, Aug. 5.
The Fargo Dome Authority asked that voters decide on a 20-year, quarter-cent sales tax to improve the Fargodome.
