CBDC Fix Passes Senate, Moves To House
SB 2392 was introduced as a delayed bill to fix problems created by the passage of HB 1082 related to Central Bank Digital Currencies.
Last month, I wrote about the problems inside HB 1082 which were mostly discovered after the fact.
Senator Bob Paulson (R-Minot) introduced SB 2392 as a delayed bill to repeal the provisions passed in HB 1082 related to the concerns many have had on this issue.
The bill passed the Senate by a vote of 42 Yeas to 5 Nays, and now moves on to the House.
This is a positive development in this issue.
Be sure to contact your House members as well as the Governor to support this bill.
