Burleigh County Leverages Reform Of Property Tax Exemption Program
Years of back-and-forth between the City of Bismarck and Burleigh County regarding tax exemption programs have led to meaningful reforms at the local level to the Renaissance Zone program.
Yesterday, the Burleigh County Commission approved a full 5-year renewal of the Bismarck Renaissance Zone program after the Renaissance Zone Authority (which I serve on) and the Bismarck City Commission approved changes that Burleigh County demanded last year in granting a 1-year temporary renewal.
