Burgum Budget Represents The Most Conservative Non-Crisis Budget Since 2003
This morning, Governor Doug Burgum addressed the North Dakota Legislative Assembly to outline his 2019-2021 budget recommendations.
On the surface, the 2019-21 budget most conservative budget proposed outside of the budget crisis of 2015 and 2017 where cuts were made without a choice – and those cuts were caused by exponential and unsustainable spending in the Hoeven & Dalrymple years.
